This isn’t your ordinary writer’s blog.

I’m Mariella, a Roman Catholic writer hoping to use my writing to teach the curious about Christ’s Church. It’s a challenge, but one I gladly accept, hoping to learn things myself in the process.

My official blog can be found here.

I Write Stories

I wrote my first story when I was eight years old. Since then, I have not stopped. My genres are a mix of fantasy and historical fiction.

In my opinion, God’s greatest gift to mankind–aside from salvation–is literature. I’m a fast reader, and I love classic novels above all. I hope to write a new book of saints one day.

History Geek

I have a great interest in history, especially English history, as most of my stories take place there. It helps when research is needed for a novel; I don’t dread the process!

Daughter of Mary

Recently I have discovered the great love of the Blessed Mother. I believe that the Rosary can save the world. Ask me to pray for you; rest assured, I will.

Contributor for Ignitum Today

2012 – 2014

I started writing spiritual blog posts for the site Ignitum Today. Working with them, I learned what it means to collaborate with others and write about holy topics. My work can be found here.

Textbroker USA

I am currently a content writer for Textbroker USA. My experience with Textbroker helped me learn how to write a blog post that will snatch readers’ attention, as well as the importance of clarity and detail.

Published in Crows on Heartstrings

2008 – 2012

In 2016, my short story The Autumn Prince was featured in an anthology of short stories called Crows on Heartstrings. This inspired me to write The Autumn Prince as a novel, which I hope to publish one day.

Fiction Writer

I consider fiction writing to be my lifetime’s work. I hope to publish my historical fantasy and historical fiction for you to read one day.

Let’s tell a story.

My goal with Write Catholic is to tell the story of our Church in a way that will interest young people. I want to refresh the faith of those who are struggling. I want to answer questions for people who are curious about the faith. If there is something you would like to read about, contact me.

I am also happy to review any books related to Catholicism.
